So you’re interested in me are you? You’re sure you don’t want to go back and read the stories?
All right, here’s a little about me. I was born and raised in Iowa on a small acreage in the country side. Between bouts of manual labor involving the maintenance of various vegetable matter or the construction of habitation I spent much of my time with my nose in a book, or out imagining myself a rebel soldier in the forests of some alien moon. I filled my head with all the Sci-Fi TV shows I could watch in the 80s along with a fascination for astronomy and space exploration. By the time I reached middle school I added an avid interest in history and computer technology to the mix.
I wrote my first story in 5th grade, and it was the beginning of a long relationship between me and reams of paper. By the time I reached high school I’d written dozens of stories and had begun laying down the foundation for the novels I would soon start writing. As a Sophomore I started work on what could be considered a rough draft of The Blerenstian War, and I spent the next two years building up the characters and universe before culminating in the writing of Forgotten Battles, my first complete novel, by the end of my Senior year in high school. The Dagger’s Point soon followed in my first years of college before I succumbed to the need to actually study so I could get my degree in Computer Engineering.
After leaving college I began working on a The Blerenstian war as I moved into the working world. I wrote most of the novel while I lived in Connecticut, before I moved to Boston. Through my years in Boston I’ve worked on several stories, and I hope to bring them to fruition in the coming years.
From Boston, I moved to Japan for a bit over a year, and had a great opportunity to explore life in a more alien environment, not that Japan is really another world, but it was a wonderful experience. It was here I was able to meet my wife and begin another new chapter to my life.
After another few years in Boston, I’ve arrived in Oregon, with a new job and a hope to delve back into my writing projects. I hope you have taken a chance to read my stories here and have enjoyed them. Look forward to more in the future and thanks for reading!
